Are you passionate about our local streams and creeks? Do you want to dive into the world of salmonid spawning and hands-on stream stewardship?
We’re thrilled to partner with The Pacific Salmon Foundation and The Pacific StreamKeepers Federation to bring you an incredible StreamKeepers Training! This multi-day training will kick off on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Mark your calendars and get ready for a day packed with learning and action! 🗓️
Why Join Us?
Learn: Gain valuable knowledge about salmonid spawning surveying
Experience: Engage in hands-on stream stewardship
Contribute: Help protect and care for our vital water resources
We’re offering this amazing training FREE to dedicated volunteers who commit to becoming local Stream Keepers with us. Volunteers will be asked to complete this fall training day in 2024 and one additional training day in early March, 2025. Stream Keepers will then continue on with your society to periodically monitor the health of our local streams and creeks.
Spaces are limited to just 12 volunteers, so don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to make a difference!
