Field Trips

Environmental education is foundational to Stewardship Pemberton Society and remains one of our core values. Our educational projects and programs offered over the years have shifted with the needs of Pemberton, but education for all ages continues to be a top priority for the organization.

We are excited to offer field trips again this year, and look forward to welcoming students back to the One Mile Lake Nature Centre!

Field Trips - Spring and Fall 2026

Get ready to take your classroom outdoors! We are thrilled to invite you and your students to One Mile Lake Nature Centre, in Pemberton, BC, for an engaging, outdoor, hands-on learning adventure.

Our interactive field trips are designed to spark curiosity, build connections with the natural world, and deepen understanding of local ecosystems, biodiversity, and the water cycle — all while having fun outside in a beautiful forest setting.

Time and Dates:

We are offering field trips on Mondays this spring (May-June) and fall (Sept-Oct). Morning field trips will run from 9:30am-11:00am, and afternoon field trips will run from 1:00pm - 2:30pm.

Field trips will be 1.5hrs long, and are offered for classes of 30 students. We may be able to accommodate different dates, times, and group sizes, just let us know.

We are growing our field trip program, and hoping to offer more field trips in the near future!

Pricing:

Field trips are priced at $300 per group.

We encourage schools to check out field trip grant opportunities through the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation and the Daytrippers Charity. We believe in making environmental education accessible for all. Please let us know if we can help address any financial barriers for these field trips.

How to Book:

Please use our Google Appointment Schedules to book a field trip slot. Once selected, please answer all the intake questions.

We will email to confirm the field trip, and send you our volunteer waiver for students to fill out before the field trip.
