VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Stewardship Pemberton Society is deeply grateful for the dedication and support of our volunteers. Their time, effort, and commitment have been at the heart of everything we do! Volunteers are the driving force behind our success, and inspire us all with their passion and generosity.
There are many ways to volunteer with us! We have both hands-on and behind-the-scenes volunteer opportunities for our Feasting For Change and Climate and Environment programs. There’s always something to do and we’d love your help!
FEASTING FOR CHANGE PROJECTS
Pemberton Seed Library - help clean and package seeds for the library, or volunteer at one of our events.
Fruit Tree Project - help harvest fruit and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste, and get a share of the bounty.
Grow-It-Forward Garden - help grow food for the Pemberton Food Bank by helping plant, weed, and harvest.
Farm Food Rescue Project - help with farm produce pickups and deliveries to the Pemberton Food Bank.
Pemberton Secondary School Garden - help maintain this school garden by helping plant, weed, harvest, and preserve produce for school food programs.
GARDEN COMMITTEE
The Garden Committee is a group of passionate community members interested in developing and supporting food security through our Feasting For Change programs. Monthly meetings are fun, engaging, and a great way to contribute to Pemberton’s food system while making great community connections.
